Today’s topic is “The Human Body” and you can learn how to call the body parts in Russian. Here they are (mind the stressed vowels):
Head – golov’a;
Face – lits’o;
Neck – sh’eya;
Shoulders – pl’echi;
Arm – rook’a;
Elbow – l’okot
Hand – kist rook’i;
Back – spin’a;
Chest – gr’ood;
Waist – t’aliya;
Abdomen – zhiv’ot;
Hips – b’edra;
Legs – n’ogi;
Knee – kol’eno;
Foot – stop’a;
