Did You Know that Western Men Sometimes Scam and Mistreat Sincere Russian Women?
So much has been written about Russian scam brides. Did you know that Western men also scam, mistreat, behave disrespectfully towards Russian ladies?
Here’s a letter I’ve received from one of the Russian ladies, Irina. She wrote:”I have been in an email relationship with Dave from Los Angeles for several months and we both felt that it is time to meet. He had been speaking very seriously about coming to see me, that he loved me. He even named the particular month that he was going to visit me…But one day, he just stopped writing… no explanation, nothing….”
He probably wrote other girls or there could be another reason… If he for some reason just finished the relation, at least he could tell her. How much effort is it to explain, respectfully, that he doesn’t want to correspond any more? After several months’ of correspondence, what sort of person doesn’t feel that he owes the other person at least this much?
Some men lose sight of the fact that these are very real human beings with very real emotions. Maybe to some men this is simply a game but to many of these women, this is a serious search. All people deserve to be treated fairly. It’s important to treat all people with dignity and respect, whether it’s on the Internet or in person.
My opinion: It’s absolutely rude. A gentleman would never had done this. When you know that you cannot or do not want to pursue a communication any longer, you then must tell the woman as kindly as you can that you will not continue the relationship anymore…
